Photovoltaic dataset of China from 2013 to 2023 for ten years

To produce this dataset, an advanced approach was employed. Firstly, machine learning techniques were utilized in conjunction with Landsat - 8 images with a resolution of 30m. These images underwent morphological restoration to enhance their quality. Subsequently, the processed data was converted into vector format, facilitating further analysis and manipulation. Finally, a crucial step of manual verification was carried out. This involved careful human checking to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the dataset. Through this meticulous process, a high-quality dataset was generated, which can serve as a valuable tool for various research and application scenarios related to photovoltaic studies in China, such as analyzing the spatial distribution and temporal changes of photovoltaic installations, assessing the impact of photovoltaic development on the environment and energy landscape, and supporting the planning and management of photovoltaic projects.
