The research dealt with the application of the analysis of the spatial spread of slums housing areas in the city of Zagazig using geographic information systems by knowing the location of the city of Zagazig, and the pattern of the spatial distribution of unplanned slums housing areas, and categorizing them in terms of the area into (large areas, medium areas, and small areas), then it was Determining the spatial spread of these areas within three areas: the central area of the city with a radius of 1.5 km, the area located on the boundaries of the urban boundary at a distance of about 1.5: 3 km, and the area outside the urban boundary, including Shaybah and Al-Nakariah, about 3: 4.5 km, and through that analysis, the priorities Dealing with these areas according to the proximity to the central region. The priority is for the closest and largest area, and the results were, in order, the following unplanned slum areas: 16, 36, 21, 27, 31, 32, 33, 15, 35, 37, 34. 17, 24, 28, 20, 22, 19, 39, 38, 30, 25, 8, 4, 26, 23, 5, 7, 29, 12, 18, 2, 13, 14, 6, 3, 11, 9, 10, 1.
