AB617 East Oakland - Mortality Rates

This data comes from the Alameda County Public Health Department, Community Assessment, Planning, and Evaluation (CAPE) division, using Alameda County vital statistics files for 2019–2023. It provides age-adjusted rates for mortality from cardiovascular disease, lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), lower respiratory infections, and other health outcomes in East Oakland (CERP), Oakland, and Alameda County. Some Census Tracts and zip codes have very high rates for certain conditions; those with a population-years at risk fewer than 25,000 should be evaluated with caution. This dataset was utilized in the AB617 East Oakland Community Emission Reduction Plan (CERP) Community Description.
