RNAseq of Microcystis aeruginosa FACHB 1339 uninfcted and infected with cyanosiphophage Mic1

Cyanosiphophage Mic1, isolated from the Lake Chaohu, specifically infects bloom-forming Microcystis aeruginosa FACHB 1339. Using transcriptome sequencing, here we profiled the gene temporal expression pattern of Mic1 during infection, and analyzed the transcriptional responses of host. The study helps us better understand the interplay between M. aeruginosa and its cyanophages, and lays foundation for the future application of cyanophages in controlling the harmful blooms.
