Orthophotography - MEL - 2020

The cantless orthophotography of 2020 was produced from aerial photos taken in the spring of 2020.

The project covers the boundaries of the territory of the European Metropolis of Lille (MEL) in its 2020 state, i.e. 95 municipalities, with the recent integration of the community of municipalities of Haute-Deûle.

### Acquisition phase:

* The raw data represents 887892 RGB and IR photos.

**Processing phase:**

* The cantless orthophotography of 2020 was produced by photogrammetric processing on ContextCapture software.

* The delivery was made in the form of tiles in the tif format of 250m side. These tiles were compressed using the following command:

* The compressed tiles were then converted into a tif-format raster according to a cog profile:

#### This project was realized in partnership with Enedis and GRDF.

* The objective for the MEL services was to allow the production of cant-free orthophotography with as few plant masks as possible. It has therefore been ensured that the data acquisition is carried out before flowering.
* The contract was awarded by a consortium of service providers; Aerodata for project coordination, Vansteelandt for data acquisition and BeMap Solutions for data processing.
* The aerial acquisition of the photographs took place from March 30, 2020 to April 9, 2020

Data on prisons are excluded from exports.
