Share of bird-owners on total pet owners in Italy 2022-2024

Cats and dogs are by far the most common pets in Italy. But what about birds? A survey conducted on pet owners revealed that almost five percent of them owned a bird in 2024. This figure increased compared to 2022, when it was slightly higher than four percent.
