Lake Montcortès (Bronze Age to Middle Ages)

This file contains the raw counts of palynolomorphs (pollen, fern spores, fungi spores, algae, charcoal) from a varved sediment sequence of Lake Montcortès (southern-central Pyrenees), embracing from the late Bronze Age (ca. 3000 yr BP) to the early Medieval Period (ca. 1200 yr BP). The dataset has been used in the paper entitled " Bronze Age to Medieval vegetation dynamics and landscape anthropization in the southern-central Pyrenees", which has been published in Palaeogeography, Palaeoclimatology, Palaeoecology, 571: 110392 (2021).
