Data for：Deciphering altered microbial functional contributions to enhanced carbon turnover during the rice–fallow transition via Price equation partitioning

This dataset supports the manuscript entitled “Deciphering altered microbial functional contributions to enhanced carbon turnover during the rice–fallow transition via Price equation partitioning”. The dataset contains processed data and analysis files used to evaluate microbial functional indicators of potential carbon-turnover variation in a double-cropping paddy soil system.

The dataset includes soil carbon-turnover measurements, including potential aerobic SOC mineralization and Tea Bag Index-derived decomposition rate constants; extracellular enzyme activity data; ecoenzymatic stoichiometry indices; CAZy and KEGG functional abundance tables derived from shotgun metagenomic sequencing; MAG-level abundance and functional trait information.

These data can be used to reproduce the main statistical analyses, figure generation, and indicator-based interpretation presented in the manuscript. Raw metagenomic sequencing reads are deposited separately in NCBI SRA under accession number SUB16093214.
