The effect of an insect cytokine paralytic peptide (PP) treatment was examined in blood cells and fat body tissues of silkworm larvae. Gene expression profiles were compared between activate PP injected and saline injected larvae groups with silkworm 4X44K oligo-microarray (Agilent Technologies). Total RNA was extracted after 3 h incubation. Dye swap design was used in the comparison.
