Texas Mussel Threat Impact Analysis

A data driven approach to Texas freshwater mussel NatureServe conservation rankings. These data provide summary and calculations of the Threat Impact analysis which is comprised of two components, scope and severity. Because population level data largely are non-existent for most mussel species, we attempted to quantify these metrics with life history data as a proxy for evaluating species resiliency to environmental threats.
