Annual maps of C4 and C3 herbaceous crops and non-crop grasses in the contiguous U.S.

We constructed C4 and C3 herbaceous crops and non-crop grasses across the contiguous U.S. from 2000 to 2019. The zip file includes four sub-files and one map of grid cell area. Four sub-files are C3 crop layers, C4 crop layers, C3 non-crop grass layers, and C4 non-crop grass layers. In the later two files, MMT and MMAXT represent the two different crossover temperature models that were used to predict the spatial distribution of C4 or C3 non-crop grasses. In the zip file, all data layers are in TIF format. The unit for all is km2 grid-1.
