Single cell sequencing of the parafascicular nucleus (PF) of the thalamus

To examine the cellular heterogeneity in the PF, in mouse, we used droplet-based single cell RNA sequencing technique developed by Klein et al. 2015, Cell 161, 1187–1201. doi:10.1016/j.cell.2015.04.044. 2 parafascicular nuclei and their surrounding tissue were dissected from 8 C57BL/6NCrl (Charles River Laboratories, Wilmington, MA, stock #027) 8 week old male mice and run using an inDrops v3 pipeline and sequenced on a NextSeq 500 NOTE: the pf1_MATRIX.csv and MandelbaumProcessedData{*}.txt are derived from all the raw sequencing data files.
