Lacertidae Transcriptome or Gene expression

Bush-like phylogenies (also referred to as polytomies, ancient divergences or rapid radiations) are characterized by short internal and long terminal branches and reflect multiple and rapid divergence events. Resolving such phylogenies is among the most challenging tasks in the field of phylogenetics. In this project, we address the challenges imposed by Bush-like phylogenies with the use of transcriptome data by the example of the European lacertid lizards.
