Vector Layers of The Good Map, the benchmark pan-scalar map with map generalization

This repository contains the vector files (shapefile format) to compose The Good Map, a benchmark pan-scalar map produced with cartographic generalization to achieve more progressiveness for the user. The dataset (and the map) covers a region of 150x85 km in the southwest of France and covers the scale range between zoom level 18 and zoom level 10. The dataset contains different layers (roads, rivers, water areas, railways, buildings, place names, urban areas, vegetation) and each one contains files for the different zoom levels at which they are visible.
