Data Set for: Enveloped and non-enveloped virus survival on microfiber towels

The goal of this study is to investigate the efficacy of the Supertowel versus regular towels for the inactivation of non-enveloped and enveloped viruses under different conditions. Conditions included temperatures, humidities, and wet and dry towels; tests occurred over 24 hours. We use culture-based to estimate inactivation attributable to the antimicrobial properties of the towels. Results from this study will help inform decay rate predictions and risk modeling for indirect transmission of enveloped and non-enveloped viruses.
