Transcriptome profiling of MAT1-2-7 mutants

A comparative transcriptomics project that aimed to determine differences in the global expression profiles of MAT1-2-7 mutant isolates and wildtype isolates of Huntiella omanensis. Phenotypically, the mutant isolates were unable to complete sexual reproduction and thus RNA was extracted from both vegetative and mated cultures to determine at why MAT1-2-7 disruption precludes sexual development.
