Data set - Utility of SOFA Score, Management and Outcomes of Severe Sepsis in Southeast Asia: A Multinational Multicentre Prospective Observational Study

This is an observational study to evaluate the utility of the SOFA score, compliance with Surviving Sepsis Campaign (SSC) 2012 recommendations and factors associated with mortality in adult patients presenting with sepsis (SOFA >=2). The study took place in Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia, the partner countries of SEAICRN (Southeast Asia Infectious Disease Clinical Research Network). The registry number of the study was NCT02157259. Mortality outcome was not available in 19 children and 5 adults who withdrew from the study prior to 28-day follow-up, and in another 13 children and 6 adults who could not be contacted for 28-day
