The HFPs are marketed permanently in the locality by brands made of metal (height bolts) usually on structures, in the rock or on special point carriers. Basically, their heights and, if necessary, the coordinates and severity values are determined. Currently, the HFPs are still determined exclusively by geometric levelling, in the form of a closed level path (loop), which can also consist of several net-forming lines. This is why it is also referred to as Nivellement Points (NivP). The proof of the HFP shall include: — Point data in the form of altitude, gravity and location coordinates — Point descriptions (measurement sketches) — Point overviews based on the topographic map 1:25000 (TK 25) with point signatures and numbers
