The strain used in this study, BT0510, was selected due to its high flocculation capacity and high tolerance to ethanol, osmotic and heast shock stress(Bravim et al.2010). This WGS provides knowledge of the strain and the effects of selective pressure involved in the cachaça fermentation process.
