Your project description Background: Gut microbiota has been implicated in many diseases including obesity and type 2 diabetes. However, the role of gut microbiota in the pathogenesis of weight gain and insulin resistance was not clear. Objective: In this project, we use high fat induced obesity and insulin resistance mouse model and examined the causal role of microbiota with fecal transplantation.
