AUV ABE navigation and along-track data (SCC ASCII format), Eastern Manus Basin survey (MGLN06MV, 2006)

A number of AUV ABE dives were conducted during 2006 Melville cruise MGLN06MV to the Eastern Manus Basin (chief scientists Maurice Tivey and Wolfgang Bach). Along-track geophysical and water-column data was collected by AUV ABE during these deployments. The Develco magnetic sensor was a small analog 3-axis fluxgate magnetometer device. The data is provided as SCC-formatted ASCII text files, with column headers, and is sampled at 1Hz. The data set was collected and processed as part of the projects called Hydrothermal Systems in the Eastern Manus Basin: Fluid Chemistry and Magnetic Structure as Guides to Subseafloor Processes; and, Integrated fluid inclusion and petrological studies of the PACMANUS hydrothermal system - building upon the results of ODP Leg 193.
