Grafting cultivation is a powerful measure to overcome the continuous cropping obstacle and reduce the damage of soil-borne diseases. As signaling molecules for long-distance transport between rootstock and scion, miRNA plays an important role in regulating plant growth and development, stress response and other processes. However, there are few reports on the long-distance transport of miRNA between rootstock and scion, and the mechanism of disease resistance and stress resistance in eggplant. In this study, miRNA-seq and RNA-seq were used to study the mechanism of miRNA in long-distance transportation between eggplant rootstock and scion.
