Dataset of Temperature and Precipitation over the Major Belt and Road Initiative Regions Under Different Temperature Rise Targets

This dataset is mainly focus on the major areas of the "the Belt and Road", including 12°S-72°N and 18°W- 148°E, covering most of Asia, Europe and North Africa. This dataset contains 4 models and multi-model ensemble averages and 5 meteorological variables. The 4 models are ACCESS 1-3、CESM1-BGC、CMCC-CM and MIROC5. The 5 variables are maximum temperature, minimum temperature, average temperature, diurnal temperature range precipitation, with a spatial resolution of about 0.05 ° and a temporal resolution at annual. The time period of this dataset is the historical period (1986-2005) and the years of 1.5 ℃ -3 ℃ temperature rise targets under the RCP8.5 emissions scenario. Notely, the temperature rise period is centered on the year of 1.5°C, 2°C and 3℃ temperature rise targets for a window of 11 years . The data format is NetCDF.
