Digital Archive from an Archaeological Evaluation and Watching Brief at Vauxhall Industrial Estate, Greg Street, Stockport, 2022 to 2023

This collection consists of images, site record data and a vector graphic from an archaeological evaluation and watching brief by Archaeological Research Services Ltd. The work occurred at Vauxhall Industrial Estate, Greg Street, Stockport from September 2022 to April 2023. Significant archaeological remains were uncovered throughout, particularly across Area 2 and the adjoining area, which were targeted for a scalable watching brief. In this area, the footprint of a building was encountered with an adjacent chimney. In Area 1 in the north of the site, the truncated remains of a building and a small chimney were encountered with an adjacent train track represented by in situ sleepers.
