Upper-crustal seismic anisotropy and its geological controls in southeastern Korea from local earthquake data

This record contains the shear-wave splitting (SWS) dataset used in the study “Upper-crustal seismic anisotropy and its geological controls in southeastern Korea from local earthquake data.” The dataset comprises 4,611 reliable SWS measurements from local earthquakes recorded by the Gyeongju Hi-density Broadband Seismic Network (GHBSN) between January 2019 and December 2020. The network included 200 stations during the study period. SWS parameters were measured using the MFAST program (Savage et al., 2010). The archive includes the final SWS catalog and the corresponding MFAST summary files. The catalog contains event and station information, selected band-pass filter, fast-polarization direction (𝜙), delay time (𝛿𝑡), and associated uncertainties. Fast-polarization directions were corrected by subtracting station-specific mean sensor misorientation angles estimated using the P-wave-polarization PCA method of Seo et al.
