资源简介:
Fill from four features at four different sites in the Dutch John Privatization Survey was
examined to identify any potential that these features were used to process biscuit root. The
features all represent Archaic occupations in Ashley National Forest near Vernal, Utah.
Combined pollen and starch granule analysis was undertaken to identify use of the features
because processing biscuit root can leave information both in the form of Apiaceae pollen and
recovery of starch granules typical of those produced by members of the Apiaceae family. The
original objective was to search for differences in pollen and starch content in unlined and slablined
features.
