"Suaheli-Haus von dem Bruder des Häuptlings Koimbere von Mamba: Malamia, jetzt Davidi" ("Swahili house of the chief Koimbere's brother: Malamia, now Davidi"). A rectangular house with clay walls and a roof made of plant fiber. In front of the house a family: The father with a cap, white shirt and patterned cloth is holding a stick. On his right a young man. On the left a woman carrying a baby and three other children. The oldest carries a smaller child.; The picture was probably taken by Johannes Schanz (1876-1963). He worked as a missionary of the Leipzig Mission in Moshi and Mamba from 1901 to 1910.
