Data were collected about people admitted to hospital in England with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis. This included people admitted to intensive care or high dependency units. Data collected included demographic information, risk factor, treatment and outcome information. The dataset was previously called the COVID-19 Hospitalisation in England Surveillance System (CHESS) Dataset.
