Student Evaluations of Teaching (SETs)

This dataset comprises over 298,000 SETs (Student Evaluation of Teaching) collected from approximately 5,600 courses across four semesters at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. These evaluation forms include not only students' quantitative ratings but also open-ended comments. Additionally, the dataset provides response rates for both quantitative and open-ended questions, with average response rates of 46% and 43% for quantitative questions, and 17% and 16% for open-ended questions respectively. Covering 5,600 courses and over 298,000 SETs, this dataset supports downstream tasks including sentiment analysis, aspect extraction and summarization for student evaluations.
