Critical slowing down precedes regime shifts in a Miombo woodland in Zambia. ## Data # Classification_2001.tif and Classification_2022.tif The values in the raster files represent the following: 1 = Pixel classifed as "state 1" in that given year. 2 = Pixel classifed as "state 2" in that given year. # True_Regime_Shifts.tif The values in the raster represent the following: -1 = Transition from "state 2" to "state 1". 0 = No regime shift detected. 1 = Transition from "state 1" to "state 2", but no true regime shift. 10 = True regime shift (see the manuscript for a detailed explanation of what was considered a "true" regime shift). # plots_classification.xlsx Table with a summary of the field data, with the coordinates of the sampled field plots and the field-based classification into "state 1" or "state 2". ## Code # template_script.R Script with an example code to do the BFAST01 analysis and to derive the temporal autocorrelation at-lag-1 using time series data prior to the regime shift.
