RNA Sequencing of DCs and MDMs and ChIP-seq of DCs in Response to Aspergillus fumigatus

The goal of this study was to investigate changes in the transcriptomic landscape of dendritic cells and macrophages in response to the opportunistic pathogen Aspergillus fumigatus in the context of immunosuppression by FK506 (Tacrolimus). The potential of exogenous interferon gamma to rescue FK506 induced immunesuppresion in vitro was also investigated. Human dendritic cells or monocyte-derived macrophages were treated with FK506, interferon gamma or a combination of both followed by infection with Aspergillus fumigatus conidia. Cells were the collected and RNA or ChIP sequencing was carried out.
