Disturbed sediment microbial communities in boreal lakes

Here we study the structure of bacterial and archaeal communities in wastewater-disturbed and pristine sediment in six boreal lakes as well as of in wastewater discharges. Microbial communities were studied by NGS (Ion Torrent) of bacterial 16S rRNA genes as well as archaeal amoA and bacterial amoA genes.
