Time-lapse, live imaging of 3-day-old SC>CD63-GFP (green) Drosophila male secretory cell stained with Lysotracker-Red (red) reveals intraluminal vesicles biogenesis in real time. A CD63-GFP-marked protrusion invaginates from the mMVBL membrane (0 sec), forming a CD63-GFP-positive acidic puncta (48.9 sec). This precedes the formation of a wave of peripheral acidic microdomains.
