Multi-omic characterization of the Vitis vinifera/Plasmopara viticola (Grapevine Downy Mildew) pathosystem

Grapevine leaves infected by Downy Mildew (Plasmopara viticola) were used as the source for preparing illumina libraries to sequence: the genome of Plasmopara viticola, the transcriptomes of both organisms in a 5 time points time series, the sRNAs from both organisms at 5 time points during infection and degradome reads for a pooled sample of all time points for infected and control material. This is the first multiomics characterization of any plant pathosystem.
