Expression profiling of EphB6 positive and negative subpopulations in human T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia

T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia/lymphoma(T-ALL) is a malignancy curable in ~80% of pediatric and ~40% of adult patients. It is a heterogeneous disease characterized by the presence of leukemia stem cells (LSCs) which have been postulated to be responsible for relapses. Ephrin receptors (Eph) have been reported to be highly expressed in cancer stem cells. To define the gene expression profiling modulated by EphB6 receptor in T-ALL, we conducted an RNA-Sequencing (RNA-Seq) comparative transcriptome analysis on tumors derived from EphB6 positive and EphB6 negative cells which were FACS-sorted from patient-derived xenografts (PDX) of T-ALL.
