Gut Microbiome of Omnivorous and Herbivorous Goliath Beetles

Second instar larvae of Mecynorrhinella poggei and Goliathus goliathus were fed a diet of pre-fermented liquidambar formosa wood, with or without koi food pellets as protein supplementation. The hindgut microbiomes, substrate microbiomes, wood and frass and koi feed microbiomes are included.
