Objectives of the Project: • Discovery of total exons related to production, reproduction and disease resistance in buffalo genome • Differences between cattle and buffalo exome (comparison with bovine public database) • Comparing exomes of Jafarabadi and other breed of Gujarat • Discovery of SNPs in whole exome of buffalo population which cause changes in proteins i.e. mis sense, silent, framshift mutations etc.
