This dataset provides labeled cashew plantation data covering a 120 km² region in central Benin. It includes 12 spectral bands: 10 multispectral bands from Sentinel-2 and two SAR bands (VV and VH) from Sentinel-1. Each pixel is annotated with one of several classes, including Well-managed plantation, Poorly-managed plantation, No plantation, and Other. <br>
The labels were generated through a combination of ground truth data collected using handheld GPS devices and refined using high-resolution Airbus Pléiades imagery. The dataset reflects conditions as of May 10, 2025.<br>
The data spans 25 different acquisition dates, and after preprocessing, consists of 1,800 image patches. There is no exact temporal match between Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 images; however, the maximum time difference between paired images is 6 days, with the closest available SAR image selected for each multispectral acquisition.
