STABILITY OF STACKED CUBICAL PARTICLES

The files provided here are intended to be used for the ON-DEM WG4 test case dealing with the stability of a 3 cubes column laying on a horizontal plane under its own weight. The file "3_cubes_guidelines_and_results_preview.pdf" contains the presentation of the test case made during ON-DEM Zurich meeting and gives a few guidelines as well as a quick preview of the results. Furthermore, two sets of data files are provided:- first set dedicated to dimensional simulations (cubes_dimensional.stl and plane_dimensional.stl)- second set dedicated to dimensionless simulations (cubes_adim.stl and plane_adim.stl) These datafiles are text files formated to be read by Paraview. Note: sphere clusters, superellipsoids or other appropriate geometries may be used to map the cubes, the idea being to be as inclusive as possible as long as the cubes geometry is matched.
