The experimental data used in this work were obtained from the MASNUM-WAM model, developed by the Key Laboratory of Marine Science and Numerical Modeling (MASNUM). MASNUM-WAM is a third-generation spectral wave model that solves the energy spectrum balance equation in spherical coordinates and wavenumber space. It employs the ST6 source function package to simulate the effects of wind input, whitecapping dissipation, and nonlinear wave interactions on wave evolution. The model has been extensively calibrated and widely adopted in wave modeling and related scientific research.This study utilizes global wave field simulations (70°S–70°N, 0°–359°E) from MASNUM-WAM for the year 2021 at spatial resolutions of 1°×1°, 1/2° × 1/2°, 1/4° × 1/4°, and 1/8° × 1/8°. The wind forcing data used in the simulations are derived from the ECMWF-ERA5 reanalysis dataset with a temporal resolution of 1 hour. Three variables with a 1-hour temporal resolution are extracted from the MASNUM outputs as inputs: significant wave height (SWH), zonal wind speed (windx), and meridional wind speed (windy). This results in a total of 8,764 records for each variable from January 1 to December 31, 2021.
