These are signed minutes of meetings of the J.P. Frankie Memorial Trust. The Trust was established to make provision for an award to be made - in the form of a gold medal - to a fifth year engineering apprentice at Mort's Dock and Engineering Co Ltd or other works carrying out marine engineering, who had the highest aggregate marks in the Higher Trade Course in the Marine Section provided by the Technical Education Branch in New South Wales. The Trust also made provisions for the award of an additional prize of books to the winner. An amendment to the Deed of Trust was proposed in 1943. The minutes of the Trustees are generally concerned with both the administration of the Fund and the award, annually, of the prize. (12/10521.1). 1 vol.
