This series contains a sample of files relating to the registration of non-profit organisations. Under the Lotteries and Art Unions Act, non-profit organisations had to register to conduct games of chance, housie, etc. with a prize money in excess of $200.00 and with a limit of $100,000.Each file contains an application for registration, deeds of trust of the organisation and a copy of the certificate of registration. Since August 1984 organisations are not required to register competitions under $200,000.(12/10901-05). 5 boxes.
