The data set comprises nitric oxide data of the Earth's middle and upper atmosphere region for the years 2002-2012 as derived from all acquisition modes of infrared spectra measurements collected by the MIPAS instrument on board of the Envisat satellite. Further, temperature data for the upper atmosphere mode of MIPAS is provided. The data version is V8.
