Escherichia coli Genome sequencing. Escherichia coli

The genome is a circular DNA molecule with 4.6million base pairs in length. The functional correlates of size variation in different genome copies are mainly unexplored. We have sequenced the multiple genomes of Escherichia. coli, significantly projecting valuable insights from the authors in understanding the nature of the multidrug-resistant genes, patterns of virulence factors and their mode of action. Our study has successfully concluded that the respective antimicrobial resistance and virulence genes in E. coli play a significant role in regulating the expression and mediating transmission.
