资源简介:
The LiDAR data Floresta Nacional de Tapajos (TAP_A01_2008_LIDAR) refers to initial airborne survey carried out in 2008 at Tapajos National Forest, Pará state, Brazil, funded by grants from NASA (#NNX09AI33G to M. Lefsky et al.) and NSF (#0721140 to S. Saleska, G.G. Parker, Y. Shimabukuro et al.). The TAP_A01_2008 survey encompasses the km67 LBA eddy flux tower for long-term flux measurements of carbon dioxide (Hutyra et al., 2007; Wu et al., 2017).The purpose of these projects was to use LiDAR to measure forest canopy structure across Amazonian landscapes to infer large-scale forest biomass and carbon balance (Stark et al., 2012). These data have been incorporated into the broader integrated effort of Sustainable Landscapes, a project supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and US Department of State. The United States Forest Service working in collaboration with the Brazilian Enterprise for Agricultural Research (EMBRAPA) have made possible the provision of high accuracy LiDAR data aiming at developing new methods and generating knowledge in the field. . This dataset contains: a. Classified LAS formatted point cloud data – compressed LAS files: LAZ format (vendor delivered); b. Digital Terrain Model (vendor delivered); c. Map of LiDAR coverage area and block boundaries; “Data were acquired by the Sustainable Landscapes Brazil project supported by the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa), the US Forest Service, USAID and the US Department of State."
