Sea Ice Condition Chart in NEAR-GOOS Regional Real Time Data Base (RRTDB)

Sea ice conditions in the north-east Asian marginal seas. Japan Meteorological Agency issues "sea ice information" on every Tuesday and Friday evening from December through May, which includes the statement of sea ice analysis and forecast in a week and the chart of sea ice condition with its concentration in the north-east Asian marginal seas. "Sea ice condition chart" image is a part of "sea ice information" and colored in the sea ice extent by every concentration. This image is updated when sea ice information is issued. Data sets may be obtained directly from the North-East Asian Regional - Global Ocean Observing System (NEAR-GOOS) Regional Real Time Data Base (RRTDB) at http://goos.kishou.go.jp/ with a user account.
