This dataset includes meteorological and hydrological data used in the study titled *"Satellite observed space-time variations of suspended sediment concentration and their relationship with wind speed during 1984–2021 in Bohai Sea, China"* (Journal of Geophysical Research: Oceans). The dataset contains the following variables:Wind speed data from 24 meteorological stations spanning the period 1984–2021. The data were obtained from the China Meteorological Data Service Centre (http://data.cma.cn/).Runoff and sediment discharge data of the Yellow River measured at the Lijin Hydrological Station from 1984 to 2021. These data were provided by the Ministry of Water Resources of the People's Republic of China (http://www.mwr.gov.cn/).In-situ suspended sediment concentration (SSC) data collected from 2010 to 2016.All data are compiled in a single Excel file named 'Wind_Speed_Yellow_River_Data_and_in_situ_SSSC.xlsx', including multiple sheets for each variable. These data support the analysis of long-term variations in suspended sediment concentration in the Bohai Sea and their relationship with wind speed and riverine inputs.
