Supporting data for Structural Insights into the Catalytic Mechanism of Sirtuin Protein by Monochromatic and Polychromatic X-ray Diffractions

A photocaged compound was designed and synthesized by the combination of chemistry and enzymatic approach for crystallographic application. Although the two intermediate structures obtained using this caged compound showed low data quality and low cofactor occupancy, the results confirm that the caged compound remains stable in the dark and, upon UV irradiation, releases native compound that can be effectively recognized and bound by protein.
