Sequence based microsatellite genotyping development for Salmo salar.. SSRseq_salmo

Previously developed microsatellite markers have been tested for the development of a sequence based microsatellite genotyping approach in Salmo salar. A total of 38 loci were amplified in a multiplexed PCRs and sequenced for 192 repeated individuals to estimate genotyping error. Data were used as a proof of concept of the method and 17 high quality loci were validated.
