Whole-genome sequencing of a Rhodococcus sp. strain isolated from saline soil in Argentina with plant growth-promoting traits

We report the complete genome sequence of Rhodococcus sp. strain M4-67 which was isolated from a saline agricultural lot located at the southeastern area of Cordoba Province, Argentina, and exhibited halotolerance and PGPR capabilities. The whole-genome sequencing of this strain was done to explore the genes associated with stress tolerance, including those related to osmotic adaptation and oxidative stress response, as well as the PGPR activities related genes.
